In 2018, a fortunate internship gave me the chance to explore Karachi on foot, especially the streets of Saddar. With a dream of becoming an architect, I began to truly appreciate the city's rich architectural heritage and the stories behind its historic buildings. Inspired by these spaces, I sketched the ones that stood out to me, illustrating them with sketchy, dynamic lines to capture the vibrant, intertwined essence of Karachi's bustling unity. - Maria Mirza
